Worship is central to all that we do at First Presbyterian Church of Lake Charles. We celebrate One Lord, One Faith One Baptism. Each service has a sermon based on the Bible, but aimed at today’s challenges and needs.
At 10:30 A.M., a blended worship service is celebrated in the sanctuary. Music ranges from beloved and well known classic hymns to newer contemporary hymns. The music team includes guitars, drum and a keyboard that add to the music and praise-filled singing.
We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of each month. Baptisms are held during worship services as well.
We also offer worship services for special days in the Christian year, with a Service of Lessons and Carols for Advent, a Candlelight Communion Service on Christmas Eve, a service on Ash Wednesday, special worship on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, and Easter Sunday.
Please mark your calendar for our meaningful Maundy Thursday Service, April 13 at 6:00 PM in the Sanctuary, 2525
